Traveling with kids, especially infants and toddlers is hard. I wanted to recommend a cleanser for you. It’s Clinique’s Take the Day Off balm. I usually get it at ULTA. It’s a little pricey for the large size ($53), but it lasts quite a long time. I carry a backpack whenever I travel with a small bag already packed inside at all times. It does save time, especially for a procrastinator like me.

For the fruit to last up to 2 weeks after washing, it has to be 100% dry when you put it back in the fridge. Just FYI. I am lucky if fruit lasts 2 days at my house. But, the method of washing the way you did, and allowing to fully dry really works!

I highly HIGHLY recommend the Beginner Strength series on Peloton. I’ve done it twice and it’s soooo good, it’s Matty and Olivia and it’s very positive and very manageable. You can use your bike screen for the sessions or the phone app when you’re traveling etc. Love it!

I really enjoy these videos, even if they are all over the place because i’m in the same phase & it’s just nice to feel together in this crazy time. Also I wanted to share a tip to extend the life of fruit, esp after spending so much time washing. Make sure they are thoroughly dry & put them in mason jars! It works the best with grapes, strawberries & blueberries & pretty good with blackberries & raspberries, definitely longer than any other method i’ve tried. Give it a try!!

Hi Allison! Wash your vegetables and fruit using apple cider vinegar because I read it was much more effective. I use organic because it’s not much more money anyway. Also, you must and that is a must make sure you are fruits and vegetables are completely dry before you put them in a container, they last so much longer that way, and do not mold. I do washing them. I lay them out on a. I think it’s called a dish drying pad with paper towel on it and I just leave it out until it is. They are 100% dry. I do like you do and put paper towel in the bottom of the container. I also put a paper a piece of paper towel at the top of the container to absorb any moisture and I do change it periodically this works 100%, I also found a container that has plenty of room for breathing or airflow is probably the better term lol. Never put your fruits or vegetables away wet😊

Love the new mirror that's a great find. Please tell me he used a celing fan electrical box and not a standard one for the ceiling fan. If it's not attached to the roof framing, I forget what the boards are called, with a celing fan box the movement from the fan turning can cause it to fall after time.

You can also put your fruit in mason jars unwashed and then rinse what you want each time. And honestly sometimes I don’t have time for that either. I’m from Kansas, I’ve probably already eaten my fair share of dirt and bugs. Thanks for the info about the silicone plates for kids that taste like soap after being washed. I actually just opened the set we bought our kiddo a while ago.

Putting strawberries in vinegar is not only because they been handled so much. But because in some strawberries there is little black bugs that live behind the seeds and soaking them helps to get them out.

Allison- I am old enough to be your mom, and I rarely wash my fruit before I eat it.😳 I have painted over wallpaper several times. It looked pretty good, but you should use a good primer first. Oh, and pretty mirror! Nice deal. Was that a mini iron you used on the patches? I think the black fan blades would look better.
